Homestead High’s 30th Reunion Volunteer Opportunities

The Reunion Needs Volunteers to Make It a Great Night for All.

Check out the list. To volunteer, please email Betty Taylor and tell her which job you’d like to help with. 

 

Missing Classmates:

Number of volunteers needed: as many as want to help

Number of hours of commitment required per month: as few or as many as you can dedicate

When do we need help: now until event

Description of duties: help us track down missing classmates through your own networks, web searches etc. Updating the list.

 

Memorial to Classmates that have passed:

Number of volunteers needed: one or two

Number of hours of commitment required per month: 1 or 2

When do we need help: closer to the event

Description of duties: design and prepare a Memorial Poster Board for display at the Reunion. provide content to web team for a memorial page on the site.

 

Social Media:

Number of volunteers needed: two

Number of hours of commitment required per month: 2 to 4

When do we need help: ASAP through the day of the event

Description of duties: help manage the Facebook Page with Erik Foss, create content (things about our class, the years we attended HHS, the community etc.), execute promotions, generate interest and buzz, keep it fresh. 

 

Website Assistant Manager:

Number of volunteers needed: one

Number of hours of commitment required per month: 2 to 4

When do we need help: ASAP through the day of the event

Description of duties: someone with WordPress experience that will edit the various pages, post content, manage the Image Gallery, The Quad and solicit guest to increase our online presence.

 

The Picnic Sunday (if enough interest by all to have a picnic):

Number of volunteers needed: one or two

Number of hours of commitment required per month: 1

When do we need help: June and July

Description of duties: Organize and manage the informal picnic the next day after the reunion
